Experienced Facility Manager or Property Manager Sales Representative

Summary of Position

Extensible Energy is hiring commission-based Facility Manager and Property Manager Sales Representatives to build leads for our DemandEx demand charge management software. This high-commission sales position is ideal for someone with strong existing relationships with a track record of selling equipment or energy software to facility managers, property managers, and building owners.

 

Your main objective will be to use your existing relationships and develop new relationships to help educate commercial property owners and facility decision makers about DemandEx, our award-winning demand charge management software.

DemandEx is AI software that can reduce utility bills by up to 30% by anticipating and preventing expensive demand charge mistakes in small to medium commercial buildings. The cloud-based software works with the building’s existing smart thermostats and energy management systems to reduce demand peaks caused by HVAC systems and other flexible loads. DemandEx is ideal for small to medium air-conditioned buildings, such as office buildings, schools, municipal buildings, churches, warehouses, large retail stores, and auto dealerships. 

Extensible Energy will provide sales materials and training for how to educate building owners and decision-making facility and property managers about DemandEx and how it can reduce demand charges. You will then make a warm introduction to Extensible Energy’s business development team.

Skills and Qualifications
  • At least three years experience selling equipment or software to facility managers or property managers

  • Have existing relationships with building management decision makers

  • Understanding of HVAC systems, thermostats and the difference between energy charges and demand charges

  • Passion for turning smart thermostats into genius thermostats by adding our DemandEx software

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM is a plus

You should be comfortable with sales as well as fast paced learning curves as our company grows quickly.

You should be a self- starter who takes initiative and has experience in an entrepreneurial environment. You should be comfortable working collaboratively in a small team and be able to support our internal sales team with insightful end-customer pain points and selling points.

Location

This position is remote, but candidates within a one hour timezone of US Pacific time are preferred.
